I.C. BEST OF
So many times throughout the year, we find ourselves reminiscing about past clients and projects. And many times we are delighted honored to begin new projects with return clientele. The design industry is so very ever-changing and it is interesting to see how trends evolve and those that transition into classics and prove their longevity. We are reminded everyday that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". We design for the client-their tastes, their needs, the way their

This recent Guest Suite makeover has just the right amount of comfort and elegance. With serene neutrals and shades of blue and green, any guest would feel welcome and pampered. Coloring - Outside the Lines
So many of the recent trends in design revolve around neutral, soothing shades of blues and grays. These "spa like" tones can make for an amazing space, but many times, bold color pallet's don't get the attention they deserve in this arena. I LOVE working with color. I feel it expresses the true mood and personality of a space and it is so exciting when a client is willing to - Color Outside of the Lines! This Southlake home renovation and update, is the perfect example o

Make a Statement with Artwork
I absolutely love completion of a well thought out project. It is our chance to bring all of the elements of a design into full circle and present a home that is ready to entertain and be enjoyed by family and friends. Although bitter sweet, it is so rewarding to see a client relishing in the designs you have created! But a design project is not complete until the finishing touches are applied--artwork and accessories are the jewelry of any space. Artwork offers an extra

Thank you, Gracias, Je vous remercie, Grazie, Danke....
Sometimes, thank you doesn't seem like enough to say - do you ever feel that way? After being in business for over 11 years, there is one thing I know - we wouldn't be here without our customers! So I wanted to take an opportunity to send out a HUGE THANK YOU today, to all of our wonderful clients. We form bonds and relationships, we are there through joyful and difficult times in their lives and, in the end, we get to create beautiful surroundings for them and their famili

Pillow Envy
One of the hardest things about my job is the constant urge to redo my own home with the intriguing new products on the market. It's really hard to just "live with it in your head" and not bring it home! At least there is a simple way to make a huge impact without breaking the bank - THROW PILLOWS. I am a nut for excessive throw pillows. Never-mind that you have to move them out of your way to sit on the sofa-- they make the sofa look amazing. The right pillow selection

Client Reflections
The world of Interior Design is ever changing and fast paced and we don't find time often enough to reflect back on past projects and memories. In the recent years we have seen a huge shift in design direction and client requests. The days of Old World, heavy, dark interiors are making their way to fresh, light and bright interior spaces with a simple and stress-free approach to design. Our business is based highly on referrals and repeat clientele, and with this design sh

TRANQUIL - TRADITIONAL
One of my biggest loves in my career is getting the opportunity to design and complete a home that's beauty can be shared by all! This recent Interior Design project gave me the opportunity to work with an incredibly kind and thankful family to create a tranquil environment with a twist on tradition. With two young children in the home, classic elements had to be taken to the highest function and durability. What a fun challenge--one I deal with everyday in my own home. As

Ceiling Candy
I have been blessed, in my career, to work along side some pretty incredible and talented artists, but our faux artist, Emily, never ceases to amaze me with her interpretation of my design concepts. I often have clients ask if faux finishing is out of style. My response--"not if it is done by the right talent and with the most innovative products". Of course, walls and textures come to mind first. But the possibilities with ceiling art are endless. Photos definetely don't
