Christmas Tree(s) Reveal

So it's no surprise (to those who know me well) that I LOVE CHRISTMAS! Celebrating the birth of Jesus, giving to those in need, surprising my friends and family with unique, thoughtful gifts and most of all--the way our home feels after all of the decorations are out and the trees are "trimmed". With the Interior Design industry at it's peak time of year, getting around to my own home decor isn't always a priority. But with two young boys pulling at my heartstrings to get the house ready for family, friends and Santa, how can I say no! I tend to go a bit overboard with the design and sheer number of Christmas trees in our home, but this year I decided to keep it simple, and only put of 3-HAHA! To some of you that might sound crazy, but strangely enough, it is some kind of therapy for me during the holidays.

Our 12' artificial tree anchoring our family room evolves the most from year-to-year. An ombre effect of white, champagne, gold, green, teal and navy has been my design scheme of choice for the past two years. Although this tree takes over 8 hours to assemble and decorate, it is by far my favorite. The study tree resembles all of the elements of nature-with a touch of elegance and shimmer, of course! And what mother of two can be without the Family Tree. Adorned in handmade ornaments and collected memories, this fun and festive tree is finished off with a fitting top hat.

So now that you have a little insight into my holiday decorating habits, what is your favorite color scheme this holiday season?

Happy Holidays!
