Meet the New Interior Collection
HELLO! I am so excited to finally be here- writing to each of you- who love Interior Design as much as I do and sharing the inside and out of this ever-changing industry.
First of all, a little about me: I am the mostly crazy, never sit still, mother of 2 young boys. Between owning a design business and raising these monkeys, it keeps me moving every minute of every day and they add such a special part to why I do this job! I grew up with a strong, successful, and loving mom, who I can only hope to be like each day- very tough shoes to fill! But ultimately, I strive to show my boys that you work hard at everything you do and it will pay off... oh... and you have to love what you're doing, too! My dad and my husband also play huge roles in getting to where I am today, so don't worry, you will get to know them along this journey. I've always loved design; I love leading and serving people, so here I am, the owner of The Interior Collection design showroom and firm- 11 years in the making.
Over the past 11 years, we have seen clients enter our community, trends change, and social media take over the marketing aspect of business, and all the way, we stayed true to our original philosophy of providing our customers with the highest level of service.
So I began 2016 with a new vision, and I made a decision that this was going to be a year for change: Positive Change- Exciting Change- A re-brand for our company.
This was never intended to confuse or change our sense of direction in serving. I wanted to do something new to give our clientele a reason to get excited and reenergized about their homes and their style, and to introduce and expose what goes on behind the scenes of creating a beautiful home that is, as I like to call it, "tailored" to each homeowner.
With the world of reality TV shows, we lose sight of how personal and what a work of art this industry really is.
So fasten your seat belt, grab your favorite morning drink (my addiction is a mocha- YIKES!), and let me take you with me on design projects across the country. I cant wait to see where it takes us and to hear how it impacts your design style... READY, SET, GO!
